Very satisfied with the job FX Home Remodeling did at my property in Maplewood, NJ. Esteban and his team completed a whole roof replacement, gutter replacement and gutter guard installation in less than 2 days. They removed existing shingles and nails on the wood deck and replaced all leaking and damaged plywood. They installed Storm Guard premium leak barrier at all roof eaves, pipe flanges, dormer walls and around my chimney. They installed Deck Armor premium underlayment from GAF on entire roof deck and shingles Pro-starters from GAF at all roof eaves and rake walls. They installed new pipe flanges on all vent pipes, new vent system and new caps over the vent system at ridge. For my chimney they removed and replace all existing step flashing and counter flashing, and installed new counter flashing using the cut in style installation. And for my gutters they removed all existing gutters and leaders and installed new seamless gutters with conceal gutter hangers and installed aluminum gutter guards over the new gutters so I’ll never have to pay for gutter cleaning again! I also had them remove and replace a gable vent on the front of my house. And this all came with a 20year warranty on their workmanship and that is in addition to the 25 year manufacturer warranty from GAF. They didn't use a dumpster like other roofers because they were concerned about scratching up my driveway. Instead they used a modified dumpster on truck wheels which they drove up our driveway. Their cleanup was thorough and they ran magnets to pick up metal discarded metal pieces. I was very impressed and can’t recommend them highly enough and their overall price was lower than other quotes I received.

Neighbor’s giant tree fell on our garage and fences and we needed a full roof replacement. Esteban was able to drop by the same day, and was super thorough in his assessment, even with the tree still in the way. Out of everyone who came by, he was the most professional, and pointed out things other contractors didn’t. Esteban’s team did the full roof replacement and facade all in one day, with the gutter installations only taking about 30 minutes the next afternoon. He was super communicative throughout the process and patient as we communicated with insurance. Plus his team left our property even cleaner than they found it! We luckily found FX Home Remodeling while they were working on our block. After explaining how we wanted our roof replaced and chimney repaired, Esteban gave us an estimate and samples. After seeing 7 other contractors we hired FX Home Remolding. Esteban was very honest, well equipped and he and his team did exceptional work. They were professional, courteous and were on time. Esteban stayed and worked with his crew. They finished the job in 2 days as we were told. They went above and beyond what they said they would do. He replaced our roof, one gutter and one leader, and he repaired our chimney. He also cleaned the existing gutters and skylight. They left our property very clean. We are very satisfied and would highly recommend them.
