Frank's Auto Electric

Gave them a 5 Star rating I had my car to 2 other shops which they DN diagnose the correct electric issue. Said it was my battery or alternator which I had a brand new battery in the car. Franks Auto Electric I towed my car to them they SD would pull in shop As soon as they could And call me to let me know what the problem is. Called me and SD it was my radio. When my car was shut off the radio continues to play which drains the battery down and car will not start. , Frank's Auto Elec. By passed the wires and the radio s huts off DN drain the battery.

Terrible experience. I took my car to him almost a month ago and had to consistently call him to get an update on my car and he would say how he’s so busy and hasn’t got to it yet after paying his diagnostic fee upfront. He then sent my car to another shop and had them diagnose and fix the car without my consent and tried to make me pay the fee for the tow and work. He’s so old now and at this point he needs to go out of business with doing shady work like this.

Took my van there as battery died when it sat for 2 days. I had just bought a new battery a week before. They kept it over a week and then said light switch drained the battery by being left on. Took it home and the next morning it was dead again. No lights were left on. Tried to get it back in but they kept stalling. Brought it back for 2 appointments and they said we're super busy. Went back on appointment on MLK day and they said I bought a bad battery and they couldn't do anything. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Took my $$$ and did nothing.

I don't know what happened to this place l, but it's not the same as it was twenty years ago. I used to recommend Frank's to anybody who needed electrical work. Now I sadly must give a horrible review. They had my vehicle for over a month ( some parts do take a while to get with the computer chip dilemma since the pandemic). So that's really not the reason for a bad review. When I got my vehicle back, my windshield had a Crack on the inside glass of the windshield. It was obviously damaged when they were working behind the dash. They did not offer to fix it. I was told to go to my insurance company. Last I heard, that would constitute fraud. Then to add insult to injury, the panel was not even properly reinstalled under my steering wheel. I am usually a very reasonable and patient man, but that is too much. I only gave one star because the electrical issue is fixed. I will never go back.
