Fortified Exteriors

Fortified Exteriors just installed my new Fortified Roof as a part of the Strengthen Alabama Homes Program. Jonathan was the guy that came out to take all the roofing measurements and pictures. He was very personable and thorough. Best of all he used a drone to take photos of my roof and a tape measure to accurately calculate the square footage. When the bid came in through the SAH Program, we worked with Kendall to answer a couple of questions about their bid, then “pushed the button” to select them in the SAH Program. While I had Kendall on the phone, I selected my shingles and booked a date to install my new roof. The next week all the roofing material arrived the day before the start date. On the morning of the install Jamie brough the dump trailer and decking before the Roofing Techs arrived. When the techs arrived they started tearing off the old roof right away. Jordan was the on-site Project Manager and “EZ” was the Roofing Tech Lead. Both guys were excellent. One example was talking through with me the replacement of my Chimney Flashing. While that may sound like something normal, what we talked about was not. The previous roofer had spread asphalt tar on top of the old flashing. EZ and Jordan went over why that was installed wrong and the correct way to install flashing. The new flashed chimney looks better than it did when it was new! As the old roof was installed a clean up crew worked constantly. The same crew continued as the new roof went on leaving very little to clean up at the end of the day. At the end of the day ever scrap was picked up and 4 different people had magnets going over the area around the house collecting nails. Jamie was back later that day to take the dump trailer way leaving no sign any work had occurred. My roof was installed in one day! I can’t say enough about how happy I am with Fortified Exteriors. I can say without a doubt this has been the absolute best homeowner contractor experience I’ve ever had. I highly recommend Fortified Exteriors for your roofing needs.
