Trash, had 9400watt generator for less than a week and had major generator failure, cant return and they refuse to honor the warranty. I had to go spend another $1000+ on a different generator and their failure almost cost me 10s of thousands in damage to a house being remodeled. Customer service was rude and already making excuses for why the wouldn't honor their warranty.
Company doesn’t stand behind their product or customer service warranty claims. Warranty is misleading. I purchased a generator for a vacation property and had it in the box in my garage for two years. Called last Aug when we tried to use it. Told it was the battery, got a trickle charger and tested the battery. Tried the unit again this summer and it would shut off after only 30sec to 2mins. I was on with customer service for an hour. They said they would escalate, it’s been 3 weeks.
The absolute worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Been dealing with a situation for 3 weeks now. After a week and a half and multiple calls I finally got a box sent to me for a return of a battery and it got sent back to me by fedex because it needed what's called a PRP label signed off on because it's considered a hazardous material. Since then I've called in 3 times over a weeks time to get this PRP label sent to me. They say they are looking into it, and nobody calls me back. Today is the 4th call so I'm asking for a manager to bypass the CS department.
Our electricity went out at 11:30pm last night. I bought a new firman trifuel generator this morning and we were back up and running without our pipes freezing or our food going bad. Firman saved the day, our food, and our plumbing! Still no grid power, but we still have a warm and well lit home.
Got the Firman W03083 inverter and used it at the sand dunes this weekend. 15 hours and it's working flawlessly. It's a super quiet unit and ran my 13.5k BTU A/C on my RV with no problem. Keyless start/shut off is very convenient. You can't beat this unit for the price.
