The new location is fantastic and exceptionally well stocked. On the rare occasion they don’t have exactly what you need on hand, they go out of their way to track it down and get it shipped quickly. What truly sets this location apart, though, is the level of knowledge and customer support. Commercial plumbing, storm, sanitary, fire, and DCW systems can be overwhelming, especially with the wide range of materials, joint types, and compatibility issues. It’s not uncommon to uncover an existing line only to find that the pipe or joint type hasn’t been manufactured in decades. Navigating those nuances, from material compatibility to gasket types and allowable joint deflection, can be challenging, and ordering the wrong part can be both costly and time-consuming. The manager, Terri Love, is absolutely outstanding. She is extremely responsive and consistently goes the extra mile to help navigate those challenges. I am not a water expert and don’t always know exactly what I need. I’ve walked in with nothing more than a grainy photo and a rough description, and Terri and the Ferguson staff have still been able to identify the correct solution quickly and confidently. A lot of places sell pipe. What sets the new Ferguson Waterworks location apart is their ability to help customers navigate real-world problems and avoid costly mistakes. I truly can’t say enough good things about the management and staff. Highly recommended.
