Never again! I will be looking for another computer repair business. Purchased a new computer here and was going to get a data transfer. (BTW, the computer they sold me was way overpriced once I looked into it) I was trying to understand the process and what data would or would not transfer. The tech told me it could destroy my drives! He was rapd fire telling me how old my drives were and data might not transfer. I have very important work files in this computer and i must understand the process so i can prepare. This is my livelihood. He took offense to me telling him to stop. Tech was unprofessional and told me to leave if I wanted him to work on my computer. I did leave but went back and got it. I'll find somewhere else to do business. Found them! The Computer Group on Cloverdale Rd Update- Me asking him to stop while he is rapid fire telling me my computer is old and he can only tell me what percentage of my drives will transfer and nothing else and it could destroy the drives did not deserve his response and attitude. He told me to leave if I wanted him to work on my computer..he was yelling at me! And couldn't be bothered to explain to me fully the process. Because I asked him to stop for a minute as he is ripping the drives out?? He was the one with the attitude. Keep in mind I am tech savvy - and I knew what had to be saved. This isn't just a family computer , this is my job! No way I was leaving it with him. Also, I did not want a MICRO computer - but that's what was ordered for me.

Super unprofessional!! Do business somewhere else unless you want to be insulted! Our staff engineer at FAME Studios, who deals with data all day everyday, called regarding help with a hard drive that wouldn't mount. The hard drive was not solid state as we've been told directly from the top brass at OWC computing not to use solid state drives for archiving as over time they will lose the data. The Excel staff member asked why we weren't using solid state drives. When our engineer explained what we'd been told, their tech said, "well I guess y'all have got it all figured out and you don't need me" and hung up! You are correct sir we don't need you and your superiority complex!! WE will certainly take our business elsewhere!

Not only did they fix the problem, but they did it quickly and at a very reasonable price. They explained everything clearly and made sure I understood what was going on.
