Im highly Disappointed with Excel Computer Service LLC – Highly Recommend The Computing Group Instead I normally don’t leave reviews, but I felt this experience was worth sharing so others can make an informed choice. I recently visited Excel Computer Service LLC hoping to get help with some issues I was having with my devices. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. Never again! I will be looking for another computer repair business. Purchased a new computer here and was going to get a data transfer. (BTW, the computer they sold me was way overpriced once I looked into it) I was trying to understand the process and what data would or would not transfer. The tech told me it could destroy my drives! He was rapd fire telling me how old my drives were and data might not transfer. I have very important work files in this computer and i must understand the process so i can prepare. This is my livelihood. He took offense to me telling him to stop. Super unprofessional!! Do business somewhere else unless you want to be insulted! Our staff engineer at FAME Studios, who deals with data all day everyday, called regarding help with a hard drive that wouldn't mount. The hard drive was not solid state as we've been told directly from the top brass at OWC computing not to use solid state drives for archiving as over time they will lose the data. The Excel staff member asked why we weren't using solid state drives. When our engineer explained what we'd been told, their tech said, "well I guess y'all have got it all figured out and you don't need me" and hung up! You are correct sir we don... Read full review
