Ella's Design Studio

Ella's Design Studio is fabulous. I recently worked with them on 2 separate projects. The first project was in my kitchen. I renovated 3 years ago and had a built in banquet. I had always planned to upholster it in a faux leather, but could not find anyone who could do it, or even understand what I wanted (everyone else I spoke to about it want to make cushions, but that wasn't what I wanted). Ella's just refinished and reupholstered a pair of my grandparents' chairs, circa 1930, that had followed me around for almost 40 years. The chairs were abused by my cats and had their wood accents chipped from my various moves and my kids' activities. The team at Ella's was extremely patient with us as we looked at hundreds of fabrics and dozens of wood finishes during multiple trips to the shop. Ella's stripped the chairs down to the frames and reglued them, repaired and refinished the wood accents, replaced the stuffing and then reupholstered them. I just got 8 dining room chairs recovered by Ellas and I can't believe how wonderful they look. Andrea and her staff did an amazing job from the beginning to the end. The team is easy to work with and responsive in all phase of the project from pricing the restoration, helping me choose fabrics and actually doing the work as an added bonus the pick up and delivery was seamless. I highly recommend Ellas and can't wait to work with them again!

I have had two great experiences with Elaine from Ella's Design Studio. They made beautiful custom roman shades for my daughter's room (which she loves) and more recently pleated roman shades for my diningroom and sunscreens with panel drapes for my livingroom. ALL are BEAUTIFUL. Everybody took great care to make sure details and sizing were exact and installation went smoothly. I highly recommend Ella's Design studio for window treatments although their work goes beyond windows to furniture and upholstery as well.
