I recently had and hopefully can keep using the word “had” an issue out of the blue with my skin being mauled so it seemed (not an itchy problem) but more so of some kind of seed that once pulled off leaves a gaping hole underneath and lots of bleeding. Went to the dermatologist and tell them what I think it is and from and get put on an expensive injection that’s made for eczema issues, that I know i didn’t need. By emergency appt #3 I’m getting a biopsy done both arms w stitches. Cleaning every room nook and cranny of my home trying every safe product i can to haveing an exterminator come and inspect and again nothings crawling anywhere so it must be me it’s in my head I must be a picker. Because he can’t figure out what this is causing my skin to be attacked either so I’m labeled now as the crazy lady. Until the very last minute he inspects an area that wasn’t looked at and to his surprise there was the proof not one but some. CARPET BEETLE LARVAE all dead but there they were hidden making my life miserable and everyone around me thinking I’m over tired or have a vitamin deficiency. Ricky the exterminator says you need to tell the dermatologist which I will but need it in some kind of writing they didn’t listen to me seriously at the 3 previous appts so I need to show them proof by a professional. It’s not a common issue. But I do appreciate Ricky for trying again and listening and not giving up because I am none of the above crazy delirious a picker, etc.. thank you Ricky I’m thankful for all you’ve done and for being so accommodating!
