After reading some of these reviews, makes me feel a little better that I wasn't the only 1 to have a frustrating issue with this place. 10/31/25. Went to check on a handgun that I had seen there a few weeks ago. Early morning, very few customers, employees not busy. 2 standing at the front register, talking about Halloween plans. After waiting apx, 5-10min. I politely asked if someone was working at the firearms Dept. 1 female snapped, well do you need something? I asked about the gun. And also asked what IDs they needed to sale and how long it takes. Since I have never bought 1 from Dunhams. Immediately, she raised her voice and started saying I can't sell this to you if it's for somebody else. I said I understood. But, I am buying it. I'm the purchaser. Why did I want that 1? I proceeded to tell her me and My hubby had seen it a few weeks ago. And we both liked it. By this time another customer was standing there. And she's yelling at me about the straw purchase law!!!
