DuctKing

This was my first experience with getting my ducts cleaned; my dryer vent was fully obstructed. John was my technician today, and he was wonderful from the moment he arrived. He was friendly, polite, and immediately made a great impression at the door. He explained everything thoroughly before getting started and took the time to walk me through the process so I understood exactly what would be happening. Throughout the service, he was extremely respectful of my home, quietly moving in and out and being very mindful of my animals. I really appreciated that level of consideration. He also showed me before-and-after photos and explained what he was seeing, which made the entire process very transparent. When he finished, everything was cleaned up beautifully and put back together even better than it was when he started. I did use a coupon for the duct cleaning so I do wonder if the service is not "full" service. Dust was blown everywhere, I'm still cleaning it up. The vents were not all cleaned and those that were weren't done very well. The boss called constantly so the tech may have been new. It seemed like he was being rushed. I had a lot more work done than what the coupon was for so maybe they didn't plan on that happening. The tech did a couple of before pics but no after pics so I don't know how clean the ducts are but they are cleaner than when we started. I also ended up sending my living room area rug with them to clean. They had it done in a couple of days. It looks great! UPDATE: Jose came out and redid all of the work I originally had done. The vents look much better. Hopefully I won't have the dust when the heater comes on anymore. He cleaned up the floors and anything that he noticed were from the first tech.

Jose cleaned my dryer vent in a very timely manner with skill and a great smile. I appreciate him taking the time to explain what different scenarios could happen before he even started sinse the hose hasn't been cleaned out in the 15 years I've owned this house and who knows if the previous owners ever did it! I have an interior wall and a high cathedral ceiling so my 22' vent hose goes up into the attic and out of the sloped roof. Lots of old lint was revealed and I'm so glad I got it done by Duct King. Now my dryer works 10 times better.
