took my car in to Design One to have my leather seat repaired. It had a few punctures and damage on one of the perforated panels, and another upholstery shop told me they couldn’t match it. Design One had no problem matching the leather and perforation pattern, and the repair turned out flawless — you’d never know it was damaged. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were top-notch. Super professional, great communication, and the finished product exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend Design One if you need quality upholstery work done right the first time. 👍👍
These guys were so great to work with! I'm restoring the car my folks got married in for our wedding, so this was an important project for me. They were able to find the original material for the front and back seats and knocked the upholstery work out of the park. They deserve more than a 5 star review :D

I am so pleased with the expertise, The quality and workmanship on these cushions that Design one made. It completely changed the look of our table. I couldn’t say enough about how pleasant they were to work with how fast they got the job done and wanted to make sure that we were pleased with them. I highly recommend this company. They do very good work.

I’ve worked with Design One multiple times over the years, and they’ve consistently knocked it out of the park. From redoing the seats in my 2006 Jeep TJ, to several boat seat projects, to a custom bench cushion — they’ve always delivered top-notch craftsmanship.
Most recently, they custom painted/recovered an all-black headliner/plastics for my 2017 Chevy 2500, and the results were flawless. The attention to detail and finish were exactly what I was hoping for. They did it in less than a week!
What really sets Design One apart is how easy they are to work with. Their pricing is more than fair, their schedule is flexible, and they genuinely care about getting things right. If you treat them right, they’ll treat you better than right. That’s just how they operate. I usually ask for Crispin since he knows me pretty well and has a soft spot for my crazy ideas, but every one of them are experts!
I always think of shops as being on a triangular spectrum, each corner representing something we want as consumers, those being: speed, price, and quality. In this spectrum you can always find a shop that satisfies one corner… quick work that is not cheap and not quality, quality work that isn’t cheap or fast… etc. In some cases you can choose two corners (cheap and fast but not quality, quality and fast but not cheap, and so on) but the folks over at Design One legitimately hit all three and make no compromises.
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality upholstery work - with any budget, and with any ideas, even crazy custom ones!
