This place is absolutely incredible. The owner Alina was so kind and her and the volunteers and went above and beyond to teach us about the space and were lovely to chat with. The animals are so sweet and the store is stocked with great items included homemade items, tons of unique candy and drinks, souvenirs and delicious ice cream and hot dogs! They do amazing work for these animals, just wonderful. Sooo worth the stop to check out this great spot!!!!!! π«β€οΈ
βββββ A Must-Stop Desert Treasure!
If you are heading to Death Valley or just passing through Pahrump, you absolutely have to stop at the Death Valley Marketplace! This place is so much more than just a souvenir shopβitβs a total experience.
What makes it a 5-star stop:
* The Soda Selection: They have an incredible wall of over 100 unique and vintage sodas. Whether you want a classic root beer or something wacky like "Worm Ooze," youβll find it here.
* The Vibe: The shop has a charming, nostalgic "Old West" feel. Itβs impeccably clean, well-organized, and full of local treasures like handcrafted soaps, candles, and the best Pahrump-themed t-shirts.
* The Service: You can tell this is a family-owned business. The owners, Tim and Alina, are incredibly welcoming and truly care about their guests. Itβs rare to find such genuine hospitality these days!
* Traveler Essentials: They have the cleanest restrooms in the area, a much-appreciated water-refill station, and even Bluebell ice cream to help you beat the Nevada heat.
* Family Fun: My kids loved the outdoor area with cornhole and the chance to see the local burros. Itβs the perfect spot to stretch your legs and grab a photo.
This is officially my favorite "base camp" stop before hitting the national park. Do yourself a favor and pull overβyou wonβt regret it!
This would be a great stop for everyone, great little gift shop. You'll find some cool items throughout the store. Great selection on craft sodas, and thrifty ice cream. Stop in the back and feed the donkeys and horses. If you're a tour driver/guide, you should make this a stop for refreshments, snacks and gifts when traveling to Death Valley. Plenty of free parking, cool bathrooms.
Found this cute little place when I was searching for a penny press.. wow what a fabulous place please pop in if you are passing.. Alina the owner was great and told us all about the beautiful donkeys that you can feed. Great little pit stop on the way to Death Valley.. thank you we will cherish the memories. We also met a couple of lovely ladies buying their stunning ice cream.

Super nice little market with cool souvenirs! super welcoming β especially thanks to Larry, who was incredibly friendly. You can feed the donkeys, and they also have two mini horses and a beautiful big one to see. Such a fun and unexpected stop β we hope to come back:)))
Thank you Larry!!
