Great experience! I don’t usually write reviews but … I had a nail in my tire that I wanted patched from the inside. Originally I went to Firestone (just because it’s closer). I made an appointment but it took an hour to be seen just for them to tell me that the location of the nail made it unable to fix. I would need a new tire which they wanted to sell me. I was pretty sure that wasn’t true and I was being taken advantage of so I wanted to try somewhere else. I called Dave’s Tire around noon and got an appointment for 3:30 the same day. I was in and out in half an hour. They showed me the nail that was removed and it only cost $25 (versus $31 quote from Firestone). Everyone was super nice. I know where to go next time! Highly recommend!

I had just moved to Fall River and was really hesitant on finding another mechanic, but the guys at Dave's made it awesome. The rotor on the front driver's side was warped and needed to be replaced. I made an appointment and dropped my car off the next morning. The guys were super quick to call me and let me know what needed to be done, which was just to replace that rotor. They didn't try to sell me on anything else. With parts and labor, it came to $125 and they had everything done within an hour. The second time I took my car there, I needed both side mirrors replaced. Instead of having me pay for 2 new mirror assemblies, they checked LKQ (used parts distributor) and found me 2 matching mirrors (color and everything) for $300, saving me $300 because it would have cost me $600 for 2 new ones that weren't painted. I heeded their advice and bought both used mirrors and when they arrived they scheduled me in right away. At the end of it, they only charge me $10 for labor just to put them on. Both times I took my vehicle in for service, the work was done really fast. If you can't make it until after closing like I had to one time, you can pay over the phone and they will leave your car with the keys hidden and the car locked in their parking lot with your receipt, as long as you have your spare in order to get in. I can't say enough good things about this shop and their staff. Very knowledgeable and honest and will always go the extra mile for you. Their prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a reasonably priced mechanic, that's clean and has a very knowledgeable and honest staff. I will say, if you bring your car in and choose to wait, please understand that they are a busy shop and if you're given a wait time, it's and ESTIMATED wait time. If there are other patrons ahead of you who has scheduled appointments, they will be seen first, also walk-ins are first come, first serve. So please, be patient, the guys there work hard and do good work.
