Dave's Auto Repair

I have been going to Dave’s Auto Repair for a little over four years for my Yaris. Armando, the manager, is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I usually stop by whenever I need service, and he takes care of it right away, even when the shop is full of cars. They even completed my clutch replacement in just two days. Everyone at the shop is genuinely kind. Somehow many of them remember me and greet me as soon as I walk in. It never feels like I am just another customer. They are simply good people who take pride in what they do.

Armando is extremely knowledgeable, honest, and kind. I was having trouble with my jeep squealing and hopping through turns. Plus it had a svc fwd light. He looked at it and confirmed it had a PTU code. He researched the code and told me that it appeared to be a factory defect (prior model years had a recall) and to take it to the dealer. He did all of this no charge. I took it to dealer after calling Mopar to request goodwill repair assistance. They paid for 50% of the fork shift motor and provided a rental car. They also paid 100% on another repair i needed. His advice was instrumental in getting me through this with a positive result. I took it back to him after the dealer was done and they changed my oil same day with hardly any wait. Im very happy that I can go to him for knowledgeable and honest information. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Ricardo is the nicest, hardest working, and most caring professional mechanic I have ever met. His techs are great, too! He helped fix my 1995 Ford Mustang GT in so many ways. Other so-called good mechanics failed to solve problems that affect the safety of the car, driver, and passengers. Their rates are reasonable. They installed new headlights, a newer driver seatbelt, a gas tank filler gasket, and checked all the fluids, too. Their time to do the repairs were ahead of schedule. And I am 100% satisfied with their work and effort to get the job done right. This is the only mechanic in Las Vegas I will go to from now on.
