About a month ago I decided to replace my fireplace. I was recommended to Couch & Co. by a neighbor. I visited other vendors as well however when I visited the showroom at couch I immediately was greeted, helped by Ray and he came to my house the next day to give me an estimate and see if their products would be a good fit. Start to finish everything took just under a month, as I ordered the fireplace and that took two and a half weeks to be manufactured in Canada and arrive. That gave me time to schedule the electrician to put in the electrical. Jason (manager) then sent me an email to schedule install for the following week. The install team, Paul and Richard, were fabulous and professional. They arrived on time, were extremely meticulous with removal of ventless gas fireplace and capping gas line (Robbie came out and did that; his specialty), installation of electric fireplace unit. It is just what we wanted, sleek, clean, no fumes, and we can have the ambiance of a cozy fire without heating our family room to an unbearable degree. You can use this with or without heating our family and set a thermostat to maintain optimum temperature. I love it! And I’m delighted to get rid of the ugly screen that you couldn’t keep clean looking. Another bonus is that I don’t have to worry about children coming too close to the fireplace and getting burned or lighting any holiday decorations on fire! Picture 1 is before, picture 2 is after!
