I understand Conway Glass & Tinting gets a lot of good reviews. I once would have given them a good review also. From my recent experience I will NEVER use them again. They were stripping old window tint from my car. When they had stripped half of the back glass I get a call to let me know my defrost lines were coming off as they stripped, which left the car without a working rear defrost. First and foremost, they are the professionals and I should have been called right away at the first sign of a defrost line coming off, not half way through when it was too late. I made the decision to let them finish. The damage was already done. Lo... I understand Conway Glass & Tinting gets a lot of good reviews. I once would have given them a good review also. From my recent experience I will NEVER use them again. They were stripping old window tint from my car. First and foremost, they are the professionals and I should have been called right away at the first sign of a defrost line coming off, not half way through when it was too late. I made the decision to let them finish. The damage was already done. Looking back, I should have told them not to finish, I would come get the car and pay only for the sorry work they had done and took it somewhere else to finish the stripping and a put on a new tint. They not only damaged my rear defrost lines, they did not offer any kind of discount from their mistake nor any apology. After I paid I didn’t complain because it was obvious how they operate and it wasn’t worth getting my blood pressure up arguing with them. They may have good reviews but they also have bad reviews and from all the bad reviews I read, it was the same story. The customer is never right and they deny any wrongdoing and never offer even a small discount nor any kind of apology. That’s just wrong. Word of mouth goes a long way and I will tell everyone I know not to use them. I am also going to contact the Attorney General’s Office and the BBB. I may even contact a local news station to get my story out. For their mistakes, even if few in number, they need to be held accountable and try to make it right and at the very least offer an appology. Don’t know how some people sleep at night after treating someone so horribly. NEVER AGAIN! Last but not least, people read reviews first and look at the dates that reviews were written. The majority of their good reviews were written quite some time ago: 1-8 years. That tells me their service has declined.
