I did not need a big project, just replace the weather stripping around my door. This business gave me an immediate quote, which was decent, and when accepted, they sent a tech out the next day
and did the job, even though I said it was not urgent. That is great service, and the install looks good!
Hi. Let me start with Belinda, meeting with her at home-show gave me the confidence to have them go to my mother in laws see if they could fix her 5 year old garage door that the company that originally installed said would have to be replaced. She dispatched Eric who got to work and fixed for not even a fraction of the price. Kudos all around. Continental gets my business from here on out. And since I’m in the construction business will be our # 1 referral for garage doors!! Thank you all so much.
Garage door was installed last year, and the experience from start to finish was excellent. Customer service was outstanding from the showroom through installation. As with any project, a few minor adjustments were needed, but every issue was handled promptly and professionally. Phone calls were returned, communication was clear, and service was consistently reliable.
In an industry where many builders and contractors deliver poor workmanship, substandard materials, and inadequate service,
Continental Door stands apart. It has been a pleasure working with a company that values quality, follow-through, and customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend them.
Would not recommend, did not install properly. Tried to contact and was ignored. Cost me $1200.
Garage was installed in the new-build home I purchased. Seemed to work fine until the garage started to not close, as it would get to the bottom and then open back up. I realized it was because the sensors would vibrate/rattle too much and break the laser connection. Not knowing enough about garages I just took the sensors off the tracks and they were just on my garage floor, it worked fine. Then last week as I was leaving my garage door didn’t shut again so I went to look at the cable spool was unwound (picture attached). Knowing that I couldn’t fix this I called another company that was open during the weekend and when they saw the issue they were astonished that my garage made it this long without breaking earlier and/or snapping the main shaft onto my car parked below. I never looked up apparently but the whole setup was crooked! The slider piece had been grinding sideways, damaging the shaft and that’s what not only broke the cable but also what cause the sensor rattling mentioned before! You can see how messed up the slider piece is in the pictures. Total fix costed me over $1200 to replace the full bar, sensors, and the other small pieces. I tried to explain the situation to Continental knowing that this wasn’t a warranty issue but rather an installation issue altogether. They said they would get back to me, yet I haven’t heard and tried to call again with no answer. Down $1200 for a terrible installation that should have never passed inspection.
