Brooks Fine Jewelry

Took my grandfathers ring to Brooks to get a diamond set. I admit I did not do my research. Quoted me $1500 which seemed a bit high but I didn't want to negotiate something so sentimental. They returned the ring to me with some ridiculously tall setting. See the pic below. That was unacceptable and looked terrible. They said that's the only way the diamond could be mounted. I told them there was no way the ring could be worn looking like that. They said I still owe them the $1500. Two days later I took the ring with the ridiculous setting and diamond to Sissy’s Jewelers in Conway. They charged me $200 fixed the ring and it now looks beautiful like it was supposed to. Please do your research before dealing with Brooks. I feel they saw an opportunity to take advantage of someone and they did.

This is not your typical jewelry store! We live 3 hours away in NWA and still drive to Conway to work with Jeff. Not only do they carry pre-made jewelry for purchase, they can make anything you can dream up. Loose stones need a setting? A ring you would prefer as a necklace? These guys can do it! I took them my wedding band which had stones poking through the backside into my finger. They remanufactured the entire ring, gave it a smooth comfort fit finish and even engraved the interior as I requested. I am so happy with the final product! I get compliments on it all the time.
