Brilliant Gardens

Brilliant Gardens came through in a way I didn't think possible. We had an area in the backyard that used to contain a pool. The pool was removed but the area around it was left to become overgrown and ultimately overwhelming. We had an idea that maybe we could hire a company to help inspire and execute a vision. We had several out ranging from the insanely expensive (this will take 2 months and our earliest available is February) to the "economical" (we can hammer this out in a weekend). After meeting with Dylan it became clear that neither of the above were in his vocabulary. Sure he will do a 10 level hardscape design with water and fire features if you want, but he provides his own expertise and counsel on what he feels will look best and create a cohesive design that fits in the space. We bet back and forth on some general ideas until we committed to a formal design. From there, it was amazing. I couldn't really "see" the design concept in my head even though I had a printed plan in front of me. I had a hard time visualizing the space in 3D. Once we got things going, it become apparent quickly that this space would be something special. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I had almost no words for the finished product. I never had any idea MY backyard could look that good. The quality of work, the ethic of his team, and the true professionalism of the company was the most significant value proposition. There are a LOT of landscaping companies. However, there are very few companies that treat you like their most important client at the moment. When they arrived, their focus was solely on ensuring the project was completed with excellence. I am talking laser levels, squares, and millimeter adjustments on each and every brick and paver. Not only was detail top of mind, but proper base preparation was a critical portion of the project. It is a lot easier to complete a project that looks good for one season, but much more time consuming to spend the extra time ensuring the base under the patio will adapt to our changing weather and ground conditions making sure the patio looks excellent for many years to come, regardless of the weather. Put simply, if you want your project done in a way that will last, Brilliant Gardens is your choice. If you want to make sure things are done correctly and intentionally, Brilliant Gardens is your choice. Most of all, if you want to feel like your opinion is valued and that you are a partner in the project from the design through the finished project, Brilliant Gardens is your choice. They may not be ideal for every single project, but if you want it done right and have the mindset that doing things right will often not be "low bid", Brilliant Gardens is your choice. The investment was way beyond "just a patio". Dylan and his team created a space that my entire family wants to use. I've seen my family numerous times just staring out the window at the patio in awe and most importantly planning the next get-together, party, or just relaxation time in their mind. Dylan and his team have an unusual ability to create unique ideas and execute vision in a way I could never have imagined. I could not be happier with the final product and can say, this project will not be the last he does at my house!
