Extremely fast, thorough service for our upgrade to a gas insert. Worked directly with Larry via the main number for the entire install service and had no issues. Even for the initial assessment, he went through all the options we had and let us take our time to choose (vs other companies that pushed hard that we HAD to make the expensive decision or had to pay before they would visit). Plus the install team of Jay&Jay were easy to work with and very efficient. Would highly recommend!

This is the first review I have ever written. John the service guy finally called me back after 2 weeks of back and forth calls. He had immediate attitude on the phone and asked how I got his number (he called me first from an inquiry on the Heatilator website). As if I wasn't in the right to be calling him. He sounded super annoyed to even be on the phone. He tells me it will be 325 just for the visit, not counting any other parts or additional service. We made an appointment for March 9th. I asked about the cancellation policy (if we found someone sooner) which is a totally normal question. He gave me a very rude response as if he was chastising me for even asking. Being a customer that wants my fireplace fixed in a timely manner and given his past response rate I don't think it was an abnormal question to ask. I had a bad feeling from the start of the call from his attitude alone. Go elsewhere for your fireplace needs.it’s unfortunate because the first guy that called me from black magic chimney to set me up with John could not have been nicer.
