I am a residential remodeling contractor and regularly hire subcontractors for my clients. This job involved an old patio door with a three-point locking system, where replacement parts are difficult to find. He was described as knowledgeable, professional, honest, and reasonably priced. I contacted Jair and he responded immediately and clearly understood the urgency and complexity of the problem. He came on the same day to either repair the lock or take precise measures to locate a compatible replacement. Jair provided a clear and reasonable quote fixed price estimate in advance. As a contractor, I value results and speed over time spent, and that was exactly his approach. He contacted multiple suppliers and explored several options before successfully finding a compatible replacement lock that fits the old door, avoiding a full door replacement. His knowledge and problem-solving skills saved my client thousands of dollars. as the alternative would likely have been a full door replacement with a new locking system. I highly recommend his services.

This locksmith, Jair, is definitely a very professional and highly knowledgeable craftsman who spent a lot of time to solve a very difficult problem to repair our 70 year old front door locks instead of just replacing them. When we contacted him online initially, he responded promptly and then asked for photos and offered multiple possibilities and solutions and price points for our job. He then made the appointment with us and showed up on time. When he was here, he was able to fix the old locks with his years of experience and knowledge for a very good price. I highly recommend this locksmith. 5 Star for sure!

He is nice, affable, and is helpful but the price he charged was unreasonable for the work completed. When I called, he said the cost would be “up to $350” depending on whaI he did. He ended up taking out the lock and installing a new lock, which I have done myself in under an hour with only a screwdriver. I wanted a locksmith in this instance in case the new lock didn’t align correctly and required additional work. He did shave down the metal door railing to ensure the lock faceplate would be flush with the door but admitted this was cosmetic and claimed he wouldn’t charge me for this. In the end, he charged $349 for a very standard procedure. I asked him what he did to justify $349, and he pointed out the shaving of the metal railings, which he admitted was a cosmetic change and said he wouldn’t charge for. By comparison, I had an emergency locksmith arrive at our home three weeks earlier, who tried to help with another model lock and ended up charging $50 simply for the service call despite spending more time than Jair working on the door. Jair was good and friendly but his price was completely unreasonable.
