Bay Area Granite & Marble - BAGM

Overall a great experience with small hiccups. Had BAGM provide counter tops for a bathroom and wet bar. Kora and Jason provided great service and communication throughout the process. Our installation went well overall, but the crew that came to install used a caulking that did not show well and some of the joint work for the back splash was not as precise as expected. BAGM was very quick to respond, sending a crew over to do the work, but they did a rush effort to band-aid the issue. Called again, and BAGM continued to back their work by sending over a more experienced technician this time. The finalized work cleaned up the majority of the issue with the only downside being the previous work left some of the wall pretty banged up. In summary: the majority of the job was done great. Had they sent the better technician for the first install, doubt I would have had any concerns. Staff did a great job of covering the issues at hand and resolved the concerns to the best of their ability. Counter tops look great after spending some time repainting and touching up some of the work myself.

Sales process went smoothly, however, installation and finished product is a different story. They didn’t have the hole for my sink cut correctly, even though I provided specific model info and measurements, so they had to leave to re-cut it and return a week later to complete the install. The hole for my kitchen faucet is not centered, it’s pushed too far back, so my faucet handle hits my backsplash, again, specific faucet info and dimensions were sent. I’ve had to turn my faucet roughly 30 degrees off-center to make it work. Their solution to this issue is to come bore the hole larger and then use a larger trim plate to cover their mistake. This would likely look worse than my canted faucet, so just decided to live with it.
