Barretts Power Connection

Bought a used blower from here, was told it was running great, took a video of start up and purchased the blower, get home and truck is covered in fuel - wouldn’t offer refund because it was “running excellent” even after seeing video of the blower leaking at the shop and assured me they inspected every piece of equipment. Also mentioned the problem is that they could have sold it 5 times over in the time I reach out to them 2 days after purchase. laughably scammed on this one

I purchased a brand new z-246 Husqvarna from Barretts. After 9 hrs of use the deck belt blew apart, I called Barretts and was told by the son it was not under warranty. I told the son that was unacceptable, he then told me to take it up with Husqvarna. I told him that was his his job to call , he told me even though they are the dealer it was not his job to call. I told him his service was sub par and that I would write a review reflecting my displeasure, he then insulted me, calling me immature. Upon further inspection I found the belt had been incorrectly installed. I called Husqvarna they are sending me a new belt. Poor service and customer relations, Judging from the way this unit was in serviced, I would not let them repair a wheel barrow, and will never buy another piece of equipment from Barretts. This is what happens to a business when 2nd generation gets involved. In retrospect I should have purchased zturn from KandH in Plainfield or a big box store.
