Our AC would freeze solid into a block of ice every few weeks. Two other companies just said 'low refrigerant' and topped it off. This tech did a thorough leak check with electronic detectors and bubble solution. Found a tiny pinhole leak in the evaporator coil U-bend. Repaired it properly instead of just adding more Freon. System has been ice-free for 2 years now. Finally fixed properly!
Great folks working there! They have installed all HVAC in my home and my mother-in-law’s home, they maintain the units at both homes, as well as at my commercial rental property. Always good people, always good work, always with integrity! If only more businesses operated like Miller's Heating & Air Conditioning!
We are first time homeowners, and the owner of the house before us left a Miller's Heating & Air Conditioning sticker on our furnace. We hadn't heard of them but decided to call. Professional, kind, affordable, and knowledgeable! They were able to send a technician out promptly the same day of our call. Thanks for the great service! We plan to use you all from now on
Their entire staff were great to work with from the start to finish. Customer Service was great with communicating appointment ET A's, technicians were courteous and professional and Eddie was top notch professional, very knowledgeable about their product and services and by the way very handsome. Miller's Heating & Air Conditioning removed old unit and installed a complete unit in one day ...love it.
I googled local HVAC techs to perform a routine furnace tune ups. I found Millers Heating and elected to go with them for the job. A technician came out and began repairing the furnace in my hallway. The heat went to cycle on and started a fire inside the furnace while he was actively working on it. Luckily, it did not catch my house on fire and lasted only about 5 seconds, however caused extensive damage to the wiring, heat exchange, and flue. Luckily, it did not catch my house on fire and lasted only about 5 seconds, however caused extensive damage to the wiring, heat exchange, and flue. I attempted to contact the owner or manager and discovered they aren’t a local business. Their address and phone number are local, however the address doesn’t actually exist on Manchester Road. They are run by a company called Premium Home Services LLC in Chicago. I’ve called numerous times to get the furnace wires, heat exchange, etc. repaired and have not received a phone call back. Each time I call, I get the same story that their management was made aware and will call back. I found the company on BBB and discovered multiple similar complaints. Do not use this company and look elsewhere for your HVAC needs. I had a separate HVAC company come out to repair the furnace. They said the damage caused by the fire was a major safety concern as the loose burnt wires were openly exposed to the heating element. They said it should’ve never been running after the incident and recommended installing an entirely new furnace.
