***UPDATE*** Bill Responds As you can see by his defensive response below, he lives up to his reputation of taking zero accountability. I encourage anyone reading this to check out his history of responses: he owns-up to none of the negative reviews shared here, preferring instead to spin a revisionist history. For the record: I was perfectly cordial until he told me, the customer looking to spend over $1,000, that he was "too busy to deal with me" and “to go somewhere else.” It was only then I told him he didn’t have to be so unprofessional. If asking for a quote is too much work, perhaps Bill needs an apprentice, not an attitude. I maintain this was the single most unprofessional encounter I've ever had with a business owner. Leaving a negative review about any business has never crossed my mind….ever. The good news? I took Bill’s advice and went to Beachside Tire & Auto Repair. They were extremely nice, highly professional, and earned my $1,000+ without complaint. They deserve your business; Auto Pro does not. Original Review: I always try to give the local and small businesses the benefit of the doubt because I’m a local, but wow, this was a first. I called to get a quote on tires and brakes. I first addressed the issue with my tires. After I got a quote for new tires, I asked if I could get a quote on brakes. The guy who I spoke with, Bill, said this: “Now you want brakes?!? I’m the owner and I have a 1000 cars to work on. I don’t have time for this.” I told him I’d be happy to take my business elsewhere and he replied with, “Maybe you should.” The strange thing about this whole situation was that I was nothing but cordial and never said anything that would warrant his nasty response and/or refuse my business. If you’re looking for an ounce of customer service, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
