Just before Christmas, we discovered a problem with the hardwood flooring that had been installed by another company several years ago. The flooring had been put in too tightly, causing it to wave and buckle along one of the walls.
I stopped by Augusta Flooring and Anthony came out the very next day to diagnose the problem and provide an estimate. Fortunately, they already had the exact flooring needed for the repair in stock, and within a week the installers — Josh and Kurt (I think?) — were at the house. In just a couple of hours, they had made a perfect repair. You would never know there had ever been an issue. They were professional, efficient, and clearly very skilled at what they do.
Additionally, Jessica assisted me with some very affordable carpet for a separate project and was extremely helpful and friendly throughout the process.
Overall, my experience with Augusta Flooring was awesome. The customer service, pricing, and quality of workmanship were all top-notch. I’m grateful for their help — highly recommend!
We have had problems with this company from the very beginning. After paying in full, we were
told installers would be coming soon, but we were given the run-around by Jessica for over a
month. It took calling the co-owner, Anthony, to finally get someone scheduled.
When the two installers (Steve and his helper) arrived, they acted unprofessionally throughout
the entire process. Their clothing and smell suggested they had been smoking, and they played
extremely loud and inappropriate music inside our home. They ignored our repeated
explanation that our windows do not open due to the age of the house and continued trying to
force them open.
They tore up more flooring than agreed upon, stating they could not weave the flooring in
properly — even though Jessica measured the area and assured us the flooring would match
our original hardwoods correctly. They damaged our walls, leaving two large holes that we had
to repair after they attempted an unsatisfactory patch. They also broke an original floorboard
and tried to leave it that way until we said something. Their “fix” consisted of putty and nails
sticking out of the wood.
They also installed the flooring incorrectly by putting nails through the top of the wood
instead of into the side of the hardwood flooring, causing long-term damage that now has to
be replaced.
I reached out to management at that time with no response.
After leaving a review, Jessica reached out, and in our first conversation she was polite and said
they wanted to make things right. She came to our home to look at the flooring in person and
agreed that it was not installed correctly and stated that they would take care of it.
However, after that visit, we were unable to get a response from either Jessica or Anthony. We
called multiple times and got no call back. We eventually had to go into the store in person just
to discuss the situation, and during that conversation they tried to make us pay for the repairs —
even though the damage was caused by the improper installation.
After finally agreeing on a repair plan (6 Months Later), my husband took off work, moved all the
furniture out of the room, and prepared for the repairs. When the installers arrived, it was the
same two men who did the work incorrectly the first time — despite being told they had been
fired by Jessica and Anthony. When we voiced our concerns and requested different installers, Jessica told us that they
were “the best they had” and our only option. She also changed the agreement, stating they
would only repair a smaller portion of the room than what was originally agreed upon.
Due to the improper installation, our original hardwood flooring has now been ruined and must
also be replaced.
As of today (12/8/25), this issue is still unresolved. For the amount of money we spent, our experience
has been extremely disappointing, stressful, and unprofessional from start to finish.
I recently contacted Augusta Flooring with a special request to install a new floor for my lake house and I needed it asap. I was pleasantly surprised by the response. The owner Anthony personally got involved, met me at the store, he had great options already chosen for me based on my description of what I wanted making the sales process easy. He then went out of his way to make sure my tight schedule was met and sent me the most pleasant install crew. They worked so hard and did a meticulous job. I was very happy with price, service, and install and left feeling appreciated as a customer. Anthony thank you and your staff for the personal care you provided. It’s so good to find a company who knows how to treat a paying customer. I would recommend them to anyone who has flooring needs for your home or business. I’m sure you will get the same treatment I did.

Just had some glue down flooring installed. Good pricing on flooring with a decent wear layer. The order arrived quickly and the install guys, Jason and Kaleb were awesome! They had the place looking good after a day's work. Photos are before the quarter round was put down. It looks even better. This is the second job from this store and I have no complaints. In fact, the first flooring job is about 8 years old and it's still in good shape after 3 kids and a small dog. Would definitely recommend.
