I had a clawfoot tub reglazed in one of my rental units. On the day of installation, there were some minor issues. The first worker who arrived only spoke Spanish, but thankfully, a second worker eventually came who spoke English. Overall, the tub turned out well; the finish looks good, especially considering it was a very old tub. The real problem, however, came from the overspray during the process. They didn’t cover the adjacent wall, and when they used mineral spirits, it stripped the paint. While this wasn’t a huge issue since I simply repainted the wall, the bigger problem was that they oversprayed onto the shower head and toilet paper holder. I reached out to customer service, and initially, I was told that someone would come out to address the issue. I waited from 11 a.m. to about 1 p.m. on Monday, only to be informed that the technician was on another job. They offered to schedule someone to come out on Friday, but that wouldn’t work for me because of my job. After I explained this, they told me to buy mineral spirits and use them to remove the overspray. I bought the product and tried using it, but as I suspected, it didn’t work since the overspray is sealed onto the metal and plastic of the shower head and toilet paper holder. In the end, I had to go to the store to buy replacements, and I’m now out $60 due to their mistake. I won’t be using their services again. Recently contracted them to honor the warranty because the Reglaze is bubbling and peeling off it’s only been a little over a year and was told they won’t honor the warranty because I left a bad review. Be aware hire them at your own risk.
