Chris Armstrong is one of those rare auto mechanics who is talented, knowledgeable, and HONEST. Many times he has helped me know which repairs urgently need to be made while pointing out other repairs that can wait. It's not common for mechanics do that. Chris charges a fair price for labor and gets the job done in a reasonable amount of time. Keep in mind that he is a one man operation so he doesn't have a secretary handling calls for him. That said, he always answers his phone or calls back as soon as possible. Over the years of going to Chris as my mechanic, I have come to trust him completely. I have so much confidence in Chris that I have started paying him in advance for the parts AND labor once he gives his estimate. I highly recommend Chris for anyone looking for a skilled mechanic you can TRUST!

Amazing owner and amazing work! I've taken my car there twice so far, once for a look over to see if it's able to survive a long 800+ mile road trip and a second time to have said repairs done. Chris won't over charge you and he explains everything that is wrong and how he'll plan to fix it. I cannot recommend him enough!

Do not do business with this shop. I needed a radiator hose replaced and quoted me between $200-$250. It took almost 10 days to fix mind you I had to keep calling him for updates. He finally calls me to tell me my car is finished and when I asked him the final price he charged me $450. When I asked him why did it double what you quoted me? His response was that there was a fuel leak and it was mandatory to fix. He made an unauthorized repair without my consent. Then when I question him about the price he then tells me that if I don’t pay it in a few days he’s gonna charge storage fees and ultimately auction my car off. I have reported this business to the attorney general. Do not come to this shop.
