Jewel was a "jewel" to work with! My wife and I behave like a comedy team and she wrangled up our scattered choices. Putting them together in a very cohesive look! Can't wait to see the final result!π

Overall, I am very disappointed with my experience at Arko. To start back at the beginning, I had originally contacted them to get carpet installed in 3 rooms of my home. They had called me to set up a time for an individual to come out and measure my area for carpet. The individual who came, showed up 45 minutes late. This was the first downside I saw. After the measurements came in, I had went to the showroom to coordinate with the individual who was setting up my project. His name was Rae, and he was the best part of this whole experience. Very knowledgeable, very patient, and very good at his job throughout the whole project. We had agreed on a carpet, padding, install and price. The price was very fair for the carpet that was installed. That is one upside to Arko. Their prices are solid. We agreed on an install date, which was about 3-4 weeks out from the date of scheduling. It was scheduled on a Monday, This was Becuase my girlfriend are off Saturday and Sunday before and gave us the weekend to tear out the old carpet, paint and get the rooms ready for install. We had spend 14 hours each day cramming to prepare for the installers to come. I had taken off work in the morning on The day of install so I could be present for the installers at my house. itβs stated to me that the installers would be there at 8:00 in the morning. 8:00 rolls round and there are no installers. At about 9:00 am I am still wondering where they are. I receive a call from Arko stating that the installers van broke down and they are getting a new team to come out. The new team would be there by noon at the very latest, hopefully by 11:00. 11:00 rolls around, no installers, 12:00 rolls around, no installers. At this point I still havenβt heard anything and I am very unhappy, so I call the store and Iβm told the installers are leaving the store in the next 30 minutes and will be at my house soon. I then get a call back stating that the installers are now 2 hours away from the store and wonβt be at my house until 3:00. 3:00 rolls around and there are still no installers. I now have to call off of my evening shift at work because Arko is 7 hours late for their job. I lose PTO at work and am still sitting around waiting for the installers. Well someone comes to my house around 3:15 to drop off the materials. There are still no installers. 3:45 the installers show up. They install the carpet and leave my house around 7:30pm. The carpet looks nice and the install went well once they got there. They completely wasted my time, showed up 7.5 hours late to the job, strung me along, and forced me to use PTO to call off of work. I ended up complaining, the issue was escalated to the manager of the manager of the manager. They offered me a $50 visa gift card as compensation. My entire day was wasted. PTO was used. I was strung along for 7.5 hours and the best they could do to compensate my time was a $50 visa gift card. Overall, the salesman Rae was great. The price was reasonable. The install, business and time management were absolutely terrible. It doesnβt seem like they value their customers time whatsoever.
I have used Arko for many flooring jobs both commercial and residential. They do great work and get the job done in a timely fashion. I would hands down recommend them for any flooring needs. They are a one stop shop and a pleasure to do business with.
