Argo Windows & Doors MD - Repair and Replacement

Technician (sorry, elder moment, don't remember his name) was gracious and thorough. Snow was way to deep for him to check the window from the outside and the situation is not urgent. We left it that we would call again when weather permitted a better look at the outside of the window. We are comfortable with that.

We had an old odd-shaped double-pained window that needed replacement. When we called for an estimate Argo Windows came in a timely fashion. We were able to select from a variety of glass for windows (We chose "rain"). They then gave us their reasonable cost. Payment was not due until after installation. We were told that they would call us when our order arrived, and make an appointment for installation. They were prompt and fulfilled everything they said. We LOVE our window and would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a reliable company.

Dear Argo and public. I'd like to share our experience. Over all, it was good. The initial service call and estimator personell were very professional and helpful. Answered our questions and provided relevant information regarding our window repair. The wait for ordering and install took approximately 36 days. We understand its the busy time for repairs before winter arrives but because we liked the service, we decided to go ahead with Argo and wait. I have replaced and repaired 14 windows from ARGO. Plus, I have the entire exterior of house painted afterwards giving a good update and seal hoping that the house is in good shape. Tonight, the weather was cold at 20F and the house was cold. I checked the windows with the thermal gun and found some windows are registering below 30F at the edges (look at the photo). Mostly, the problem ones are for those windows I paid a lot to repair at the price of vinyl window replacement. ARGO did a terrible job. Don't buy into repairing windows at a price of the vinyl window replacement as their workmanship is beyond acceptable.

Argo did a beautiful job replacing 9 windows. The work was done quickly and efficiently. Five stars for Argo Windows
