Appliance Procare

Called these guys MISTAKENLY believing that they were an AUTHORIZED Miele Service provider. Just got off the phone with Miele. THEY ARE NOT. Should have done my homework. Tech broke some screws while attempting to open the unit up. After replacing a defective igniter, tech just started to put back together without fixing the broken screws. I had to point out that it was a safety hazard without those screws and insist that he repair the damage HE HAD DONE. He did a sloppy repair job with non OEM parts and it cost me twice as much as an authorized Miele repair would have. And to top it all off, I am uncertain as to whether or not they may have done damage to the cook top in the course of their work that will show up in the future.

I initially called Reliable Appliance Repair in El Cajon to repair my 6 month old Vissani(Home Depot brand) refrigerator which had stopped cooling. Terry from RAR showed up to say it's more than likely a control board. Two days later Terry came back with a control board. It did not remedy the issue. Terry began giving me a host of reasons why. Everything from, could be a faulty new control board to bad compressor, and even exclaimed, "Maybe he didn't hook the board up correctly". I then proceeded to demand a refund as I tossed him out by the laurels on his keester. I then called AppliancePro who sent Jason K, the very same day. Jason checked Terry's work on the board, which checked out fine. However, in 15 minutes Jason had it running like the day I bought it with the issue being - connectors behind the back wall of the freezer that connect power to the cooling tubes weren't connected properly. Was Terry messing with me to prolong repairs and run up the bill? I dunno'... I suppose that we will never know and it'll remain a mystery. Appliance not working? Call these guys at AppliancePro.
