I upgraded my kitchen appliances last year. I just purchased a new washer dryer all from Appliance Alley. They know what they are talking about and they are serious about providing excellent customer service. The prices were the same as Lowes and Home Depot but the personal attention and quality of the installers was much higher than I experienced with the big box retailers in the past. I will never go anywhere else for appliances. These guys are top quality!
Big mistake buying here, won’t do it again. I thought I would support a local business and buy direct instead of online or big box corporation. I got a microwave, did a quick search online, found it had the one feature I cared about. Turning off all the sound. That’s it. Bring it home, install it and I discover the sound cannot be turned off. Seems like it has the feature but when I follow the directions, the unit locks up part way through the steps, it may be defective, the display shows "-Set-" and locks. I Purchased on Friday, called Monday morning with my problem. I ask my sales associate, Johnny who sold it to me for a return, he says no, ask for partial store credit, strait up no. ask to speak with management and maybe we can work out some kind of a deal where I can purchase another unit from them somehow, I get silence. I paid a premium for less customer service than amazon or any other big box company offers.
I’ll put the unit on craigslist for 50 bucks. I would had been happy with a 25 dollar store credit but Johnny didn’t even put forth the effort to offer that. I suppose this store makes so much money they don’t care about 1 sale and one bad review. I have companies reach out to me on amazon to correct a faulty product no questions asked, times have changed.
Roll the dice with place, 200 dollar mistake on my end, never again, plenty of other places in San Diego and online to get a microwave.
I had such a great experience with Johnny A. at Appliance Alley. I ended up not purchasing a washer/dryer from them, but he was so informative and helpful and patient in answering all my questions and trying to meet my tight delivery schedule. I will definitely keep them in mind for future appliance purchases. Thanks, Johnny!
Summary: Lower prices than Costco and much better delivery & installation. Details: Complete kitchen remodel with all Bosch appliances purchased and delivery arrangements made via telephone & online from 500-miles away. Customer service from Rey was tops. Kitchen appliances delivered to my condo and sat covered for months due to construction delays. I paid for installation but my kitchen remodel crew ended up installing the appliances. The installation charge I paid was easily converted to a store credit. A few months later I applied this credit to the purchase/delivery/installation of a LG Washer/Dryer tower. I was on site for the delivery and installation by Appliance Alley employees. Very tight staircase clearance with multiple turns. Freshly painted surfaces everywhere. Not a single ding or scrape. Impressive. I highly recommend Appliance Alley👍
