Consultative trip exposed the ice machine auger was burned up. Tech ordered new auger and replacement ice door as our ice tray would continuously freeze up. Instead of remedying the actual problem, we spent $400 to replace a burned up auger motor and ice door. The second trip- the wrong part was ordered, so we had to schedule a third trip. On the third trip the parts were installed, the icemaker turned back on and two days later, no ice cubes - another solid mass. So I noticed the ice tray was dripping water during fill. Ordered a new ice maker assembly and installed myself in 15 mins. It’s safe to say that the auger motor was likely shorted as it was getting wet. So long story but I’ll fix it myself next time. The tech was efficient and on time. I was able to easily track his progress on previous job and he called when he was 15 mins out.

My best experience with Andy’s was with a 1987 Whirlpool propane gas cloths dry, installed in 1993 & framing for the house: Insulation concrete form exterior walls. We built the house for energy efficiency. So I called to make sure the vent wasn’t going to be too hot for the foam. He assured me that the loose belt pulley and we’re worth replacing that old Model & Brand were worth the investments, because they were better built than anything built today, soon the parts came. While the washer and dryer are open, I follow my Dad practice of vacuuming and a little oil in the older Models and even the new models. With the dryer, I noticed replacement air enters the dryer 2” off to floor! Got along haired cat, so I purchased fiberglass filter material, taping behind the dryer grill! Dirty filters cost more to run each appliance outside & in! Andy’s has always been reliable with in home service, part if you have type of skills and 3 times instead of playing with the kids. I took a space age washer into the shop, that wasn’t comfortable doing myself. Took more time & effort than doing in house! Andy’s is helpful with narrowing down to problems and can order parts, how the appliances have performed & how long the parts/appliances will still be made. They are the mortgage repair on appliances: APR or 10, 20, or 30 years investment. Plus the advice on benefits for spot on, since they don’t SELL appliances just Annalise, recommend the best way to get great performance. When we build our house, we just needed the basics. Didn’t care about brand, color, electric, gas, upright; silver ware & dishes same way. Moved in house 1993; our unfair advantages, brought up shopping pinching for good oppressions, low price. My folks owned a top brand HVAC COMPANY FOR FORTY+ years & would not sell customers poor equipment with out an extended warranty! Because of their experience. My In-laws were BLOOD HOUNDS OF THE AUCTION AND GARAGE SALES WORLD.
