Allegro Winds Woodwind Musical Instrument Repair

I should have left this post over 2 years ago but hey better late than never! I purchased a used Cannonball Tenor sax for a great price. Aesthetically the horn was beautiful but from a playability standpoint it was awful. I sought out a local horn shop here in Savannah to do the repair and get those lower notes to play, because I could clearly here the leaks. The shop here did the job and upon getting the horn back it played no differently even though they said it was playing better and charged me for the 'repair'. Ugh. Well I was dating someone in Columbia (still am) and heard about this place. I went there and even though it was at his home his shop was no different than any other musical repair shop. Literally horns of every make and model everywhere! He normally has a waiting list and I told him I couldn't leave the horn for the time frame because I use it every weekend for my church and at that time was gigging with it 2 or 3 times a month. Well he quickly decided to fix it as best he could on the spot and even though I was there for at least 4 hours I promise you it was the most fun ever. He let me try out some of his prized possession horns and talked to me about all of his past meetings with Awesometatious musicians! After he was done the horn played infinitely better than when I got it from the other place. I was on the verge of selling this horn but Allegro Winds changed that! Thank you so much...the horn is still playing phenomenally well!
