This is an outstanding shoe repair shop that I have been going to for some 40 years now. The work they do is excellent. I have a number of leather Sebago shoes that have lasted forever, because I simply bring them in anytime they need to be resoled. They use the best leather, and do the best job. We are lucky to have them here in Old Town!
Kind and honest work done here. I brought in my favorite pair of leather booties since the heel had been worn down. The heels were repaired quite meticulously, even corrected some scratches and were shined up nicely upon pickup. I would recommend and plan to come back.
After taking a custom made leather jacket to about half a dozen places for a modification and either being told “No it’s impossible” or “first you have to buy the leather and the fleece,” Alexandria Shoe Repair’s only concern was how much I wished to spend. The leather jacket now fits me perfectly, and the work is indistinguishable from the original materials. Oh! And Alexandria Shoe Repair also fixed a pair of Cuadra boots which the factory had assembled wrong. Creative, out of the box and superb craftsmanship. Go here FIRST.
