I used them for nearly 6 years. It's dependent on the tech. I had the same tech for 5 years and they switched to someone else about 6 months ago, back in October I received a text saying that Ace of Blade applied pre-emergent to my yard. I work from home and saw no one show up that day, i didn't have an invoice on my door like i normally do and they didn't leave their little sign in my front yard. I went to my back yard and i saw zero evidence that anything had been applied to my yard, my gate was still shut and latched, you can't latch the gate from the other side after closing it. I received a text message saying my property was going to be serviced on Tuesday, truck showed up and sat in front of my house for 20 minutes before leaving. It happened again Wednesday and finally Thursday they "serviced" my lawn. This time their was an invoice on my door. I looked at it and it said he was at my house for a total of 3 mins. I checked my backyard and again no evidence showing anything had been applied. I called Ace of Blades office with my concerns and they called the tech. The tech said "yeah, i didn't do the back yard this morning. I'll swing by later today to finish it"........This tech would have never came back to finish my yard if I had not called. When he showed back up to do my backyard, I went out and asked him why he didn't do it earlier and his response was "I thought I had". I asked if he was the one who serviced my yard back in October and he told me no, which was a lie. I have the invoice showing his name from the October service that I got from their website before they updated to their "new customer portal". I guess technically he didn't lie because he in fact did not service it. I would not recommend Ace of Blades unless you want to "baby sit" their techs to make sure they're actually doing their job or install cameras pointing towards your yard. Edit: About 6 weeks since my original post. Front yard is covered in weeds. Their price has gone up since my last application. I called this week to cancel. Senske Services bought this company 2 years ago and the quality/performance has gone way down. They will do spontaneous price increases, techs will straight up not do their job if they think they can get away with it. Their new customer portal is trash. It only shows dates and the price, doesn't say anything about what they did during that service; such as what was applied etc. Already signed up with another company and its nearly half the cost. Stay away.
