I called these guys about some bad sliding doors at our townhouse we’d just purchased. They came out the same day and worked very hard to fix the sliders and the locks. By the time they were done, the doors worked very well considering they are 34 yrs old. They saved us a ton of money in extending the life of the doors, so we don’t have to replace them yet. They were very courteous and kept us well informed about issues and pricing for their services. They also fixed the cranks on a window that was problematic. Finally, there was a billing snafu and when I asked about the discrepancy, they apologized, said the order got mixed up, the charge was erroneous and not only refunded the difference, but also refunded us an extra $10 for the error! Honest, timely, knowledgeable and hardworking…a tough combo to find these days in the service world!

I had a side window (front door) break and I called a couple of companies. First, you need to know replacing glass is expensive with ANY COMPANY. I called Tim at A1 and this company has amazing customer service! Tim answered my call and scheduled an appointment same day to come look at the window. He was extremely knowledgeable and was up front related to the overall cost. He delivered my window in the timeframe he promised and his employees (some family) were helpful and respectful to work with. I would use them again!

A1 Lakeview Doors & Glass recently replaced the glass in a door that had broken for us. To start, they were very helpful! Let us know how to tape up the window to catch any falling glass. Gave an estimate that our window would be ready in 10-14 days and didn’t come back to repair the window for 20 days. The cleanup portion of the job felt pretty unprofessional unfortunately. They left quite a bit of glass out on our back patio area after they were finished that we had to clean up. They also disposed of the glass in an open bag from our garbage, which then made a mess when the garbage haulers took our garbage away. I would have expected that they would have sealed bags to dispose of the thousands of pieces of glass instead of using a bag from our garbage.
