I brought our truck in for a chip repair. They took care of it right away, checked the entire windshield and took care of the new chip and had me out the door in about 15 minutes. They were friendly, fair, thorough and quick - very appreciated! We will definitely be back for any auto glass needs!
Repair was easy for the most part and the insurance covered it.
Customer service was less than optimal.
I pulled in as the last appt of the day, no cars in the bay.
Grumpy guy that did my repair stared at me through the door, refused to open it and made me park; just to go get my truck 30 seconds later. Seems really stupid and pointless to me, but you do you. It was obvious he does not enjoy his job.
Extremely frustrated. They changed my windshield and chipped paint in several locations. See pictures. We were literally driving to Phoenix right after the windshield was replaced to go back home after a hard week. We were there for a funeral of a close relative who died tragically and unexpectedly.
The windshield started making a noise so we pulled over and I noticed a ton of chips from a tool that they used trying to get out the old windshield. Annoyed because I wanted to just get home, we decided to turn around and see what they could do to fix it. I spoke to the manager and was told that it was a really tight fit so the tool they used damaged the car. They re-glued it so you can’t see some of the chipped paint anymore, but you can still see several places where they damaged the car.
The manager said that I could bring the vehicle back to them and they would have four across the street fix it. Unfortunately, that doesn’t work for me because we live in Phoenix.
First pictures are before they added more glue. The second set of pictures is after they added the glue, but you can still see some of the damage.
I would like to add that I was raised to take good care of my vehicles and these were not on there before. I have a 2022 Expedition.
TLDR: Fast, friendly, competitively priced service. Good communication with customer and insurance company. I recommend.
My vehicle had a shattered rear window and a less common piece of glass was required. The company that sent the new piece sent a non-tinted version and A-1 contacted me with an explanation and asked how I wanted to proceed. I chose to wait another week for the tinted version to arrive.
They communicated quickly and with the appropriate details during the mix up.
Installation went very smoothly, and they were even able to repair a rock chip on my windshield as well on short notice. Coordination with my insurance company was quick also.
Competitive pricing, locally owned, and excellent service. I recommend A-1 for all your glass needs!
NO ACCOUNTABILITY! 14 paint chips appeared AFTER the install of a new windshield. The owner's explanation was that rocks and dirt hit my vehicle during the drive home, causing the paint to become weak. Somehow all these rocks and dirt didn't hit the hood, roof, new windshield or anywhere else on my truck - only along the edges next to the windshield. Also, black adhesive was splattered in various places. I guess the rocks were covered in this stuff too?. Basically, this business would rather blame magic rocks than be accountable for their actions.
