I discovered a wet spot on the ceiling below a bathroom. I called DJ at about 2:30 pm. He said he'd be there the same day, and he was. He was able to fix the problem on the spot for a reasonable price. He was friendly and professional throughout the process. I would definitely call him again.
We can't say enough good things about DJ at DMV plumbing. Our sump pump went out during a huge storm. It was Sunday evening and all stores selling pumps were closed. We called at least 10 companies none had pumps and many were very unsympathetic. DMV did not have a pump available either but DJ offered to call around and try to find one. When he could not find a pump, he offered to come over after midnight with a temporary solution to keep our basement from flooding. He even offered to come back or face time with us during the night if the temporary solution started to fail. He returned the next day and installed a new one. He listened to our needs, was sympathetic, reassuring, polite, and a great communicator. We will definitely be calling DMV plumbing for any future plumbing needs.
Excellent results and very responsive and capable crew. Needed emergency service to replace a water tank…. water was running out of the tank like a water fall. I contacted the plumbing company I had worked with for years… but never needed the emergency service they advertised. After waiting 4 hours, two technicians arrived and informed me that the job would take a lot of work and they were tired….. but the would come back tomorrow. So much for emergency service. I contacted DMV and Dwayne, who was on another job said he would get to me after completing his when he was finished. He called, verified the type of water heater needed, pulled his crew together, told me to go and relax (at this point I’m sure I looked like a traumatized mess…. wet socks and all), started and completed the work, checked for any other possible problems, turned the water back on, and removed the old water heater. Now that’s 24hour emergency service! DMV is now my plumbing company…..bye Sp**^^!
We had a clogged sewer main I wasn’t able to clear myself. I called DJ around 2:00 pm on Friday afternoon, Columbus Day weekend. He was already booked for the day but agreed to come out at the end of his day to help us out. DJ arrived within 3 hours and was able to clear our line no problem. He was professional and extremely knowledgeable. Unlike most plumbers in the area, his pricing was transparent, fair, and very reasonable with no hidden up charges or gimmicks. I couldn’t be happier with DJs work. From now on, I’ll be calling him any time I need a plumber. A1 job. 10/10
This plumber was hired by my neighbor above me to make some repairs to their bathroom. During the repair they accidentally hit a pipe and sent a flood of water into my unit that required some expensive repairs. At first DMV was responsive, apologized, and offered to fix the issue. Because of the mistake, we asked for license and insurance but was met with combativeness and refusal to present the requested documentation. Well that created a lot of trust issues and we ended up hiring another contractor who presented documentation immediately upon request. My kind neighbor ended up paying for all of the repairs out of pocket. DMV took his money and left my neighbor hanging. Would not recommend.
