Sears Appliance Repair

2.5 hours past the 4 window. ETA given at 830am was 1045a, arrived at 2:20p Estimate given for repair was $520. I stated that does not include the $129 credit for the service call Sears Advertises. It should be 520 minus 129 = 391. He said no the 520 included the credit BUT the credit did not reflect on the estimate anywhere. He was quick to try to sell me the Sears home warranty when I said I would buy a new dishwasher than pay 520 to replace a part. Just a scam to sell a home warranty

Had an issue with the Furnance, error code 31 and is not resolved. There is no option available to talk to a live agent.

Elbert came to service my air-conditioning unit. He was asking for payment and as soon as I paid him he started making excuses as to why he cant look at the a/c. First he said it wasnt accessible, I walked straight to it, then he said its dirty, then he said he has to get to a different appointment and left without any explanation. He was upset because I said he's the first a/c mechanic who gave reasons why he cant look at it. He wasnt at my home longer than one minute. It appears he came to take my money and leave meanwhile my a/c still isn't fixed and I called off work for this appointment. I'm very disappointed because he doesn't represent who I knew Sears to be. I still have a a/c unit that isn't working.

It’s hard for me to even give this 1 star. I hired someone to come diagnose and repair my dishwasher. The man was very nice and very polite however he did nothing to repair and I have to ask 4x to diagnose. He kept claiming he wanted to help save me money - however I was going to $120 just to have him there? So I didn’t understand how him then not wanting to fix it helped me. He instructed me to look up the model number, look at the handbook and figure out what parts to order and install them myself. I informed him that if I had wanted to do that myself I wouldn’t have hired him to begin with and asked him to please do it. The dishwasher was falling out of my counter because the mounting brackets were broken and he told me he couldn’t fix that. He then told me the water arms were plugged and I needed to clean them. I again asked him to do it since I hired him to do it. He said he could do it but it’s easy enough for me to do. I again told him I hired him to do it. He did not. He ended up leaving after showing me the part I needed to order to fix the mounting bracket myself. I paid $120 to have a man explain to me how I could have done this myself and leave. Again, he wasn’t rude. But he was completely useless. I don’t actually know what I paid for. I was missing a few cup clips in the washer in which he said it would be $300 to have someone come back out to add them. So I could basically pay Sears $420 to not fix my dishwasher but add a few cup clips. It was such an utter waste of my time. I understand there are things I can do myself but when I am paying money for someone else to do it - I want someone else to do it. I would appreciate my money back from Sears for the insulting waste of time. I am very happy to pay people for the services they provide but there was no service completed.
