Gustavo just helped me pinpoint galvanized pipe issues that were causing my bathtub to be clogged. He quickly found the issue, gave an estimate, and replaced the broke pipes (major work done to my homes original 1940’s pipes) within 4 hours. Very pleased with his professionalism and kindness!

Something weird is happening with plumbers in SF (it’s private equity, but that’s beside the point). Almost every plumber is using AI assistants to schedule appointments that they either call back and cancel, or never show up for. It’s miserable to be a customer these days. Not R&L. We called on a Saturday afternoon when we knicked a water line and I spoke to two humans. Before that, two 24/7 plumbers didn’t pick up, one scheduled an AI appointment and didn’t show, and our plumber from literally the day before canceled after 4 hours. Clifton showed up in the window, fixed the problem, and was very knowledgeable. It was a Saturday and we were expecting to pay some exorbitant fee for emergency overtime but it was the listed weekend amount on the website. Very fair. We haven’t gotten the bill but I will absolutely call them again.

I called after hours on the weekend with a clogged toilet issue. I spoke with Saul who advised me because it was after hours the rate is doubled and if I could wait till the next day it would be less costly. I didn’t want to wait. Saul asked a few questions to access the issue. He advised me he would hate for me to pay double the money for an issue I might be able to solve on my on. He then gave me instructions on how to resolve the issue and said if I was not able to fix the issue I can call back to set up an appointment. I followed Saul’s instructions and cleared the issue. The customer service was exceptional. It was nice to deal with a company that puts customer service as a priority over money. I highly recommend R & L plumbing. Thanks again Saul!

So I decided to reach out to Larry, the owner of R&L Plumbing and surprisingly they were able to schedule an appointment within 2 hours even though they were busy due to all the leakage and drainage issues that the bomb cyclone caused. Doug was the plumber who came and he was able to unclog my toilet immediately but he also checked my other toilets, sinks, and showers for any other clogging. He unclogged one of my sinks and replaced the flushing units for another toilet. He was professional and friendly. If you ever need a prompt and knowledgeable plumber, R&L plumbing is the way to go. Big shouts out to Larry, Doug, and Carmen for your 5 star service.

Best plumbing company in the city! Our toilet wouldn’t flush on a Friday night. I called them and they came within the hour and fixed it perfectly. They took photos and documented everything too which is really detail oriented for them. The plumbers are all very friendly as well and very reasonably priced!

Every time I have used R&L they have done a great job. I have used them a lot. All the men who have come out to do the work have been friendly, polite and competent. I highly recommend them.

I am extremely pleased with the level of service I received from R and L from the initial outreach to job completion. I had the pleasure of having Clifron come out today to help swap out a few toilets. He was professional and communicative and friendly. Got the job done quickly and correctly and cleaned up when he was done. Will use R and L for all future needs!

Israel came at the early part of the appointment window, was very friendly, confident, and well i formed. Work was completed quickly. Careful, high quality work!

Expensive, and getting an appointment was more time-consuming than it needed to be, with information having to be submitted several times to two different people. But I was able to get a same-day appointment for a problem that wasn’t quite an emergency, and the work seems solid.
