I never leave poor reviews but I feel I need to in this case. I recently bought a new home so have had all difference kinds of service providers in. This was hands down the most unprofessional waste of money I’ve ever had. I needed a new control board for my oven which I already knew. I had all the paperwork for my oven available. He initially couldn’t figure out the problem and kept trying to tell me it was my breaker. Whether it was a communication barrier or not it took way too long for him to understand that I turned off the breaker myself. After convincing him that it’s the control he agreed and told me he can’t figure out the model of the oven so “he’ll have to figure it out later and get back to me.” I told him the model number. He just said no..? Then he asked for his 90 dollars for the visit which I agreed although he didn’t diagnose the problem himself or offer any solution. I spoke with wolf and they gave me the price for the control piece and confirmed that I was correct with the model number. The guy called me back to tell me in order to fix my oven he has to order multiple pieces at $350 each and figure out which one works. I asked if I’d be able to return the others and he said no. So at the very minimum I would be throwing away upwards of $700 because he doesn’t know how to identify the right part?! Then he texted me back that I’d otherwise pay $10k for a new oven and those are my only options. Absurd. I had a new company come the following day and fix my issue immediately.

I called to get an appointment for someone to come in and check my AC ducting. When they called back, they said there would be a $680.00 charge if the technician had to get on the roof to inspect the AC unit. When you look at the price of a brand-new AC unit, it is 3-4k. They wanted to charge 15-20% of the price of a brand-new unit for coming just to assess the problem. What a ridiculous business. Ah, yes, if someone reads this, the person who gave me this info is Tiana. She said that was what she had been instructed to quote.
