I have used L&C Fence for years in my line of work. They are a great company.
A+ work in diagnostic ability, customer service, communication, and cost effectiveness. Had another company come out and they wanted to replace the entire liftmaster motor. LC found a single chain defective chain link as the root cause of my issue that has been going on for a year. Don't call anyone else.
Our relationship with L&C began in 2013 with the installation of a fence and motorized gate. We have always had a positive experience. Their service technicians are very knowledgeable and helpful, especially helping with the technology things. Last week, the technician, Danny, was one of the best we've ever had. His communication regarding his arrival time was exceptional. And as others have said, he went the extra mile with helping program the various remotes. Highly recommend!
Danny, the technician, was outstanding. He showed up ready to work and even stayed late, working in the dark, to fully diagnose and fix our gate issue. He was thorough, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. L&C Fence & Gate was also very responsive on both service visits, which we really appreciated. Communication was clear, and they followed through exactly as promised. Highly recommend L&C for any fence or gate repairs — great service from start to finish.
L&C installed our fence and automatic gate in September 2016. They did a great job and the fence has shown no deterioration. The automatic gate stopped working yesterday. Ryan spoke with me by phone yesterday but could not identify the problem. Ryan arrived on time this morning and immediately identified the problem. A breaker had been tripped and the lack of power had caused the battery to lose its charge. Ryan checked out the gate mechanism and the battery charger to make sure everything was working. Ryan explained how to check the battery if this happens again. He was professional and helpful. He even touched up the paint on the black iron fence post while he was here. I highly recommend this company and our service person, Ryan.
We used L & C fence company for a fix on our automatic gate recently. Savanna in the front office was incredibly friendly and helpful and Ryan, the technician, was very responsive, helpful and professional! He fixed the issue quickly and was incredibly friendly as well. Wonderful experience for a first time user!
L&C Fence Co. Had installed a self supportive gate on each side of my house. They are solidly built as well as good looking and enhance the curb appeal of the house. Over the years I had noticed that some pine 2x4's had been used.

I called this company because they had done work on my motorized swing gate before. Since then, I had another company put in a sliding alley gate w ith a Viking motorized unit (that company now specializes in just making fancy upscale gates). I called them because my Viking motor would not work. My controller board would not turn on or work despite receiving power (24 volts as per specs). They came in 2 days which was pretty fast. They replaced the battery and called it good. It worked for a few cycles, they left, then my motor stopped working again because my control board was broken and would not charge the batteries. I talked to Viking and they said I need new control board. I called L & C back and they stated they would only wave the service charge despite getting the wrong diagnosis to come back again (still charge for hourly labor - $100/hr) plus the fee of a new control board which I was told would cost far more than the $450 I paid for it online (even with overnight delivery). My concerns are that the technician made wrong diagnosis and the company still charged me. They would not come out again to rediagnose the problem for free even though I still did not have a working gate (was told they would still charge hourly fee but waive the service fee). So no warranty on work? FYI a new complete replacement unit online is $1099 - easy to put in. So, if I would have let them come back, I would have been out $263 (initial visit) plus at very least $600 more for new control board plus labor = close to $823 when I could just get a new unit for $1099.
I have used this company for several years- charged me $200 for service call, and had to argue with them to come back because the gate was not fixed. Then they quoted me an additional $800 to replace the panel- I looked it up online and the part cost $300, and took about two minutes to install- Ridiculous! Called anouther company and they installed for $400, including service call. What a rip off!
