J & J Gates Service And Design

We have used J&J gates twice to install a gate at one home and repair our gate at another. Both times they have been super responsive and helpful. We’ve been very satisfied in both instances.

When I called, Candace was extremely friendly and helpful. She got back to me right away with an estimate. I told her I was under a time crunch for getting the repair, and she got a crew out within days. They did an amazing job, with no surprises, and charged exactly what she quoted. I would highly recommend.

By far THE BEST contractor I’ve ever had work on something at my house! I’m hard to impress, I’ve had my fair share of terrible contractors over the years so my expectations are low. J&J Gates took care of my old wrought iron gate that was unbalanced and causing brick to pull out of my house due to the way it was anchored. They installed a new, substantially stronger post, took great care when digging the hole to pour the concrete footing, and Chris communicated the entire time. He even called to ask my permission to use the water spigot & asked where it was located because he didn’t want to be poking around (I was at work while they performed repairs). I was floored! The City of Irving workers have helped themselves to my water hose so many times when doing work on my street, leaving the hose strewn about and ON, so this request might be small to some but definitely impressed me. I was very appreciative of the communication, the final results, and the care that was obviously taken during the 2 days of work. Highly recommend!!

I highly recommend this company! I had them fixed my entry gate and they came out on Thursday at 6:30 PM!! When I called to make appointment with them I was greeted with Friendly customer service! I also was greeted with professional and reliable service technicians they will take care of their customers! We are very happy to find them!! We are customers for life!

J & J Gates did a fully custom electric fence for me and it exceeded my expectations. It was an "engineer as we go" kind of construction but the guys stuck with it until everything functioned. They did this in the middle of the summer when it was super hot outside. The project has only been finished for a few days but I have gotten a plethora of compliments on the design and craftsmanship. I will be recommending J & J Gates to my friends and will personally use them again for my next project.

I don't usually do Google reviews, but the service I received was outstanding. After receiving a bid from another company--and then a no-show when it came to the repair, I reached out to J&J. The callbacks from the office were prompt and clear. When Oscar arrived to do the estimate for my non-functioning gate opener, he spent time evaluating the equipment. In short, it was a minor repair compared to a complete replacement I had been quoted by the previous company. J&J Gates was an outstanding experience for me from the first call, to the handshake at the end of the job.

Oscar has been servicing our gate for years. I like that he knows what he is doing and can fix the problem.
