Sept 2024, I paid a 700 dollar deposit. Was told "it would be a few weeks" - Went back and forth with this company for months trying to get my fence repaired. Someone even called me once saying "hey I still owe you a fence!, we can be out there in a couple days" - OK Great. Didn't happen. I called back a few months later, "oh no I thought we took care of that, lets get it scheduled" and it didn't happen. I called back again, same story, I insisted on a refund and was told they write checks on friday and would mail it. It's been several weeks and a credit card dispute later, and I still don't have what I am owed, either a fence or a refund.

Pete You promise to show up and you don’t. It’s been over Eight months now you only manage to put up a small portion of the fence. You’ve been absent all the spring and summer. We’ve ran out of patience please either refund our money or give us the pickets that you have ordered. Just last week you promised Luke you’d be here and you didn’t show up. We’re not surprised. You can delete this post, but there will be others lined up behind me posting to! We are NOT going away!

I paid Pete at Cardinal Fencing $1,300 on May 20, 2025 for vinyl fencing with a promised installation timeline of three weeks. It’s now August 6, and I have received nothing—no fencing, no installation, and no communication. After repeated follow-ups and excuse after excuse, Pete has now completely stopped responding. This is unacceptable business practice and incredibly poor customer service. Avoid this company at all costs. I would not wish this experience on anyone.

Very similar experience to all the other one star reviews on this company. The customer service is absolutely terrible. No communication unless you are the one to initiate. Don’t return calls or voicemails. Only answer when you catch them at the right time. Deposit was made to start project months ago, have been promised 7 different times when the project will take place, and every time that the work is scheduled to be done, the day of there is a no call no show. Wait a week and try to get ahold of them, then promised the work will take place the following week. Again no call no show. Every time there is another reason. All we have asked for is communication and honesty. If the project is going to be weeks out just say that. Don’t make promises that can’t be kept and then not communicate that there’s going to be a delay. Owner has refused to refund deposit, very unhappy with the lack of professionalism and honesty with this company. Would not recommend

We had damage to our fence in April. I called to notify and pay the deposit of $450. Every since May i’ve called weekly asking when the work is being completed. There's been delays with weather which is understandable but no communication and i’m consistently calling. I’ve called daily this week with no response…. We’ve had great quality up to this point but if you need repairs the customer service is disappointing.

This has been a horrible experience. Workers came to my home 2 times. I received a price for the replacement of a fence. They took the deposit and the fence is still not put up. They have excuse after excuse for not showing up. I have had work done by Cardinal Fencing before with excellent results. This time it has been a complete nightmare. Found them to be unprofessional and dishonest.
