Dan is the kind of professional you hope to find when something goes wrong at the worst possible time. During a recent freeze, my elderly uncle’s pipes burst. A bad situation made worse by the fact that I live about an hour and a half away. When I arrived at the house, there were already several inches of water on the basement floor. It was a stressful situation and we needed help quickly. Dan answered the call right away and was responsive to both calls and texts. He came out promptly, took the time to carefully assess the situation, located the break, and clearly explained what needed to be done to repair it. He was calm, professional, and patient with all of us while we worked through the problem remotely and with my uncle at the house. Because we had to coordinate a few other things, the final repair had to wait a couple of weeks. When we called Dan again, he responded quickly and was able to come back within a day or two to complete the work. The repair was handled professionally and the entire experience, from communication to scheduling to the work itself, was excellent. In a stressful situation, having someone dependable makes a huge difference. If you need a plumber in the Salem area, especially for frozen or burst pipes, I would absolutely recommend Dan.
