In 2021 I took a Foxbody Mustang for a new top install and alignment. I know it's been a while due to it being a project car and not having any time to work on it some more until now here is what I discovered. First. The actual top, headliner, and glass window install was mint, Wells couldn't figure out the alignment thought. My driver side rails were still bowed. Shortly after my driver side hydraulic cylinder disconnected off the frame. A couple of days ago when I went to reconnect it I found that instead of cutter pins they just used paper clips to secure the cylinder to the frame. The rear glass, even though the car has been barely used in the years since I had it installed, came unglued from the fabric. This caused it to bind while I was lowering the top down. In doing so I blew out the rear glass. Maybe the frame alignment being to high than spec had something to do with it. Also I'm not sure if the frame was previously missing some of the proper bolts and nuts to secure and align the frame, but for the money I paid I half expected the proper hardware to be sourced and used, which i would've happily gotten and or paid for. Instead some of the bolts and nuts being used are wrong. I understand that previous owners and people have mightve been to blame for the improper hardware, but still at the end of the day I paid over 5k for a professional opinion and install i expected more. One last thing I'm concerned about is that when I'm able to save enough money look for a place that has the experience to align the top frame on a foxbody, the top might have to be retighten due to the alignment of the frame being to high. All in all, the employees and boss were very nice. They did take a couple months to install the things they did due to being unfamiliar with a foxbody and ripping the first replacement top which they replaced on their own dime instead of repair the previous one they ordered. I just wished I had inspected the work they did right after they did it then waited so long. This is not a review to put this place down, just sharing my experience.
