Wathen Pest Control

Called to schedule for a residential spray. Was given a time and date to spray, they never showed up. Called back and the guy was super rude and argued about not scheduling , very unprofessional, I have used them for several years but the unprofessional nature is disappointing.

Excellent service. Technician was very knowledgeable and kind. We have used Wathen for over 25 years and always had great results. They stand behind their service.

I schedule an appointment well over a week ago. Called morning of appointment at 11:00 AM to make sure they were still coming at 4:00PM I had to make arrangements to get my fur babies away from the house and my kids, also for someone to be at my house for them to come in. At 4:20 I called back because the person waiting at my house said they still had not shown up. The man who answered the phone who does the scheduling was extremely unprofessional, and didn’t make sense. Seemed very out of reality. I do not recommend this company. They do not keep records for services and payment. Use a company that cares about their customers & not just getting money. And please do not say I’m not a customer bc I told you the name of the previous owner & you have that record but claim they didn’t pay. When I know that’s a lie.

They sprayed around the outside of the house for ants on April 7th, 2020 which cost me $60.00. I was told the spray would eliminate the colony, and the ants would be gone in a couple of days. They used the same spray under the house about a week before. As of today April 30th, 2020 we still have an unmanageable ant problem. I called the office on w 9th st, In Owensboro and the man on the phone told me all the rain must have washed the spray away, but it didn't rain under the house, and the same spray was used under the house about a week earlier. I do not recommend Wathens pest for anything.
