I have been looking for a screw for an NVMA with no luck. After several miscellaneous screw boxs I walked in here he found it it 2 seconds and didn't charge me a thing. Great guy great service.
I brought in my 8-year-old custom-built CyberPower PC for a grinding noise coming from the rear fan. The technician misdiagnosed the issue repeatedly. He claimed my motherboard was overheating, my AIO cooler was failing, and that I was ‘overclocking’ even though my system was running default settings. He also assumed the PC was a Walmart/Best Buy build without checking the specs. He tested the PC sideways on a chair, which is not an accurate method, and disabled important BIOS features like XMP, dropping my FPS from 300 to 60. He also assumed the PC was a Walmart/Best Buy build without checking the specs. He tested the PC sideways on a chair, which is not an accurate method, and disabled important BIOS features like XMP, dropping my FPS from 300 to 60. During the process, my secondary hard drive was left unplugged, which caused further confusion when I noticed missing drives afterward. The actual problem was simply an intermittent rear case fan making noise—nothing to do with overheating or my cooler. After replacing parts based on incorrect assumptions, the original noise still happened. Overall, this experience showed a lack of experience with custom builds, BIOS configuration, and proper diagnostics. I do not recommend this business for custom or older PCs.
My PC would not power up on Monday morning - I reached out to Walt and he had me bring it on to the shop. He was able to diagnose the issue shortly after I brought it in (bad power supply). He put a new Power Supply in and then did some PC maintenance for me as well. I was able to pick it up on Monday afternoon. Incredible service and the fact that he was able to get it back to me on the same day was amazing. I highly recommend Walteck for your computer needs.
I am so grateful for all the things Mr. Walt has done for me. My PC had a really bad restarting issue that didn’t give us any information on where it was coming from. We kept trying, and finally got to the root of the problem. My PC is now fixed and now I can finally play games and stream without any issues. Mr. Walt is very professional excellent at his craft, and I highly recommend him.🩷😁
