We purchased a home on Northshore Maui that was a complete fixer-upper, but with much potential. It needed a retaining wall and the project was so complex, we had a difficult time finding the right contractor. When Edward Vares came to view the property, he instilled so much confidence in his ability to demolish and excavate the very neglected backyard, and then build our wonderful retaining wall. He brought in subcontractors who put in other hardscape around the property. Now we enjoy sitting in our lovely backyard and look out at our ocean view. We could not be happier with the service we got from Vares Contracting!

We had recently moved to Maui from Oahu and started to upgrade our Haiku home. We’d been lucky enough to find Edward Vares and his team just after we purchased the home to do some tree clearing on our property. During our lanai remodel project Vares Construction assembled a great team of carpenters and Trex experts to create our dream lanai. To this day we have friends come over and the lanai still gets a lot of ‘wow, look at this!’. In our 20+ years of having remodel work done, Edward and his team are the best general contractor we’ve ever had.
